Hope They Survive!

We have a couple fruit trees in our backyard that have been blossoming....so pretty. But we've been having some not so ideal weather coming through. Hope the trees, and more importantly the fruit, survive. Can you see the ginormous snowflakes?

Northern Utah always seems to have at least one of those last minute middle of spring freezes. Somehow most of the fruit usually survives, and almost all the trees, so I am sure there is a good chance of it. I've heard you can cover them with plastic at night when it falls below freezing, and that will help them maintain their temperatures better.

Wade did that with our little orange tree this year, but we weren't consistent. It did survive, but was a bit bedragled.

They're resilient. I bet they'll make it. And when they do, I'll be over there at harvest time, basket in hand.
