She's Here!!!

Our new edition arrived on Wednesday night, Oct. 22 at 11:55 pm. Missed her Aunt Kati's birthday by 5 minutes...sorry Kate. Her name is Kamryn Janae Langston. She was 7 lbs 15 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. She's very sweet and looks a lot like her big brother Brody. She also has lots of hair...which these pics don't necessarily give justice to. We are very happy to have her here. I'm sure I'll post more pics later.

Worn Out

I was wondering why Teagan was taking so long in the bathroom...so I went to check on him. This is what I found...so of course, I had to take a picture. After I took a couple pictures, I kinda giggled and he lifted his head up with drool strung out of his mouth. I started laughing and told him that he fell asleep. Then he tried to convince me that he was just teasing. Yeah, right. It was so cute.

REAL Salt Lake

Ok, so my pics aren't that great...but John obtained tickets to a REAL Salt Lake Soccer Game that we attended on Saturday. The boys love going to these sorts of things...and I don't mind, especially since John gets free tickets.
Brody loved the game and was very well behaved and seriously watched the game.
Teagan usually likes these sorts of things...but complained that people were too loud. We ended up leaving at 1/2 time...but had an enjoyable evening.

Yuck!

Last night we had fish for dinner. Our boys actually like fish, but we also had some apple-grape juice. After taking a bite of fish, Teagan took a drink of his juice and we thought he was going to throw up. He said, "Fish and juice make YUCK!" I couldn't stop laughing. Bad combo I guess. (And if you know Teagan....that is a pretty simple explanation....sounds like the 2 year old Teagan.)

First Snow!

Yes, it's October...and yes, it snowed about 4 inches the other night. Brody was seriously giddy and didn't care that he was freezing cold. Teagan also loves the snow and has still been playing with the couple of piles of snow left from his melted snowmen. They can't wait until it snows again!
Daddy helped them build a big 'daddy sized' snowman in the backyard. They had so much fun!

After a while, Mommy got cold and went inside...but I was still involved in a snowball fight with Teagan and Brody. I was hoping the snow would clean the window...but yeah, it didn't work so well.

Sharing With Baby

My boys don't always share...what kid does. But the other day both of them were bound to find a way to play with their baby sister...which resulted in a bunch of Transformer stickers all over my tummy. Sweet, huh.

Our Cute Boys

Brody has been playing with this classic shape toy a lot lately and has become very good and very fast at getting all the shapes in the ball all by himself. I've been seriously impressed. (sorry couldn't figure out how to flip this pic)
Teagan was trying to teach Brody how to do push ups the other day. He was a very good teacher..and it was hilarious to watch!

After a push-up workout...Teagan flexed and told me that he was "ribbed" (I assume he meant ripped!)

I've Been Tagged Again!!!

[youvebeentagged[1].jpg]

Here we go:

1. Maybe others will not think this is so weird or random...but I love having my hair brushed/played with/head basically being touched by others. Well, maybe not just any other person...but I certainly love having John brush my hair (which happened a lot more when I had long hair.)

2. I still have no idea who I am going to vote for this coming election season!

3. I love finding typing/spelling errors. I'm not a grammar expert, but I love when I'm reading in a book or magazine and I find a mistake. Is that sad that I find a sort of happiness in others' mistakes? Am I searching for the negative? Hummmm.

4. I am not a big fan of horses. Some of you may already know this...but they are certainly not my favorite animal. Fine to look at and pet on occasion...but way too intimidating for me to love...or ride.

5. If I'm ever simply channel surfing and come across the movie "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days" I'll watch it. No matter where I come in...I think it is so cute.

6. I hate dusting. Too many things have to be moved around for it to be done properly! But my boys love to do the basic dusting...that's good enough, right?

7. I have always wanted to run/own a bed and breakfast. We are hoping that we will have lots of money after our kids are bigger and we can buy a big beautiful place to live out this dream.

Alright, they might not be so weird or random....but this is me.

I am going to TAG: Annie, Katianne, Chelsea, Kim, Betsy, Julie, and Mel!!!

Proof!

I think this is my first belly pic with this pregnancy. Here is finally proof to our coming little one that she grew 9 months in my belly!

Box Fun

Cardboard boxes are certainly a favorite toy in our house. In this pic I just barely missed John flying Brody around the room in his box. We seriously have boxes out like every day. Sometimes they drive or fly them...sometimes they break them open and draw all over them...sometimes they make tunnels to climb through...sometimes they poke holes in them to hide special objects. The boys are very creative with the boxes and rarely grow tired of them.

Why Wait Til Christmas

For me, egg nog is a year round treat. But in honor of it being the 1st of October, I am having myself a refreshing glass of Halloween Egg Nog. Actually...it's about 3/4 full of skim milk and the rest egg nog...I don't need this prego tummy getting any bigger!!!

When In Doubt...Feed Him Fruit

Brody is certainly a fruit kid. Maybe that's why he's still a bit of a small fry. But I couldn't resist posting a couple of my favorite fruity pics of him. Yes, he is asleep cuddling an apple in this first pic.
Enjoying a peach at Grandma and Grandpa Langston's house.
